Overview

InternshipTrack is a Google Sheets-based application that helps users organize job and internship application updates from Gmail.

Google Account Data

InternshipTrack requests read-only access to Gmail for the purpose of identifying emails related to job and internship applications.

InternshipTrack does not send, modify, archive, or delete Gmail messages.

How Gmail Data Is Used

Gmail content is used only to identify and extract information related to job and internship applications, including:

• Company name
• Position title
• Application status
• Interview or assessment information
• Deadlines
• Recruiter information
• Application updates

Data Storage

Extracted application information is stored in the user's own Google Sheet.

InternshipTrack does not maintain a separate centralized database containing users' Gmail message contents.

Third-Party Sharing

InternshipTrack does not sell Gmail data or use Gmail data for advertising.

Gmail information is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the functionality of the application.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

InternshipTrack may collect limited anonymous usage information, such as a randomly generated installation identifier and whether the application was installed or used.

Anonymous analytics do not include Gmail message contents, application information, names, or email addresses.

Data Retention

Application information remains in the user's Google Sheet until the user removes it.

User Control

Users may remove InternshipTrack's access to their Google Account at any time through their Google Account security settings.
